Needs assessment of regional issues to be applied into a poverty reduction plan

Utilize existing, and new partners, to improve services specifically for the elderly and disabled people in the region

PRIORITIES FOR 2021 – 2024

  • Identify the needs of 3Nations members living in poverty
  • Identify the needs of 3Nations members living with disabilities
  • Ensure that 3nations activities are consistent with reclaiming power and place: the final report of the national inquiry into missing and murdered indigenous women and girls and the calls to action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada

KEY INITIATIVES FOR 2021 – 2022

  • Conduct a needs assessment to determine what community upgrades are required to address accessibility barriers for disabled individuals
  • Conduct a survey to determine the extent and nature of persons w/ disabilities in 3Nations communities
