Our Goal

Ensure that all eight 3Nations communities are fully prepared for all possible emergency situations

KEY STRATEGIES

Support the work of 3Nations’ regional emergency operations manager and the community Emergency Management Committees (EMCS)

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the provincial, territorial (Yukon) and federal governments

”3Nations’ Regional Emergency Operations Manager is developing action plans that enhance community safety and security for each of the following four areas: Mitigation and Prevention; Preparedness; Response, and Recovery.

PRIORITIES FOR 2021 – 2024

  • Take measures to ensure that 3nations communities are well-prepared for potential emergencies through training, communication, collaboration and partnerships

KEY INITIATIVES FOR 2021 – 2022

  • Develop and begin implementation of a 3Nations emergency operations plan with a focus on community capacity and preparedness
