Ensure that all seven 3Nations communities are fully prepared for all possible emergency situations.
KEY OBJECTIVES
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the provincial, territorial (Yukon) and federal
governments as it pertains to emergency management.
Have each community identify an individual to represent them at a regional working group that meets at least once per quarter and as needed.
Work with emergency management organizations to ensure Emergency Plans are in place and updated regularly.
Prepare to support any emergency event that any of the seven communities encounter by enacting or providing support to a community on short-notice.
Educate communities regarding Indigenous Services Canada Emergency Management Assistance Program (EMAP)/Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (EMCR) financial policies for eligible expenses in Emergencies.

Take measures to ensure that 3Nations communities are well-prepared for potential emergencies through training, communication, collaboration and partnerships.
Develop a user-friendly binder that includes Emergency Response and Preparedness information that includes, but not limited to info graphs. Information must be community specific.
